This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for VidStack subscriptions and credit purchases operated by Sappy Media LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
1. Subscription Refunds
1.1 General Policy
Subscriptions are non-refundable. When you subscribe to a VidStack plan (monthly or annual), you are purchasing access to the Service for the billing period.
1.2 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:
- You will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period
- Your subscription will not renew at the next billing cycle
- No refund will be issued for the remaining time in your current period
1.3 Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for the full year. If you cancel an annual subscription:
- You retain access until the end of the 12-month period
- No partial refunds are provided for unused months
2. Credit Pack Refunds
2.1 Refund Eligibility
Purchased credit packs are refundable under the following conditions:
- The refund is requested within 14 days of purchase
- Zero credits from that purchase have been used
2.2 Non-Refundable Credits
Credit packs are not refundable if:
- More than 14 days have passed since purchase
- Any credits from the purchase have been used
- The credits were included as part of your subscription (monthly allocation)
2.3 How Credits Are Tracked
When you purchase a credit pack, it is added to your account balance. Credits are used on a first-in, first-out basis. If you have existing credits and purchase additional credits, the older credits are used first.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund for an eligible credit pack purchase:
- Email us at support@vidstack.app
- Include the subject line: "Refund Request"
- Provide the following information:
- Your account email address
- Date of purchase
- Amount paid
- Reason for refund (optional)
3.1 Processing Time
Refund requests are reviewed within 5 business days. If approved, refunds are processed within 5-10 business days and issued to your original payment method.
3.2 Refund Amount
Approved refunds are issued for the full amount of the credit pack purchase. Any applicable transaction fees charged by payment processors are non-refundable.
4. Exceptions
We may, at our sole discretion, provide refunds or credits outside of this policy in exceptional circumstances, such as:
- Technical errors that prevented you from using purchased credits
- Duplicate charges due to system errors
- Extenuating circumstances on a case-by-case basis

5. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or dispute with your bank or credit card company instead of contacting us first, we reserve the right to:
- Suspend or terminate your account
- Contest the chargeback with documentation
- Decline future service
We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any billing issues.
6. Free Trials
If VidStack offers a free trial:
- No payment is required during the trial period
- You will be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends
- Trial periods are not eligible for refunds once converted to a paid subscription
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service.
